One-Step ISBM Process
The one-step ISBM process consolidates three historically separate operations — injection molding, thermal conditioning, and stretch blow molding — into a single continuous automated cycle without any secondary reheating step. This eliminates up to 40% of energy consumption versus two-step RSBM and provides superior biaxial molecular orientation for barrier and strength properties.

European IBM Process
Injection blow molding is a closed-loop 3-station rotary process without a stretch step. HDPE, PP or PS resin is injection-molded around a core pin at Station 1, forming the preform and the finished bottle neck finish simultaneously to closure-compatibility tolerance. The EP-ZQ European-style IBM machines operate at 20–30% higher clamping force than Chinese-market alternatives at each tonnage tier.
3-Station Rotary Architecture
Injection → Blow → Stripping operates simultaneously every cycle. All three stations fire in parallel — maximum output efficiency, minimum idle time.
Zero Flash · Zero Scrap
Because IBM injects directly onto the core rod, there is no parison and no flash generated at any stage. 20–40% material savings versus EBM.

Two-Step RSBM Process
Reheat stretch blow molding (RSBM) separates the production process into two independent stages. Stage one: preform injection molding on a dedicated injection machine or purchased as ready-made preforms. Stage two: preforms are reheated and biaxially stretch-blown into finished bottles on a standalone EP-HGA RSBM machine. This two-step approach allows the RSBM machine to run at maximum output continuously without being limited by a co-located injection cycle — enabling higher per-line throughput at scale versus one-step ISBM.
Two-Step — Preform Then Blow
Stage 1: preforms injected separately or purchased ready-made. Stage 2: EP-HGA RSBM machine reheats and biaxially stretch-blows the preform into the finished bottle. The two stages run independently — the blow machine is never waiting for an injection cycle.
Highest Output at Scale
The ES-8C76 at 8 cavities is the highest-output machine in the EP-HGA range — the definitive platform for water bottling plants and beverage operations requiring maximum throughput from a single machine installation at the 700 ml format.
PET — Full Range of Grades

I currently run an extrusion blow moulding line. What does converting to IBM or ISBM give me?+
Switching from EBM to IBM or ISBM typically delivers: elimination of flash scrap (20–40% material saving per cycle), elimination of flash trimming labour, improvement in bottle weight variation from approx. 3% to approx. 1%, improvement in neck-finish consistency, and reduction in per-bottle energy consumption. For PET containers, ISBM also adds biaxial molecular orientation delivering superior oxygen barrier, compression strength and optical clarity that EBM cannot achieve at equivalent wall thickness.
I have existing ASB-12M moulds. Can I use them directly on an Ever Power ISBM machine?+
Yes. The EP-HGY150-V4 and EP-HGY150-V4-EV are engineered for direct mechanical compatibility with the Japanese ASB-12M mould format. We recommend sharing your specific mould drawings with our engineering team before finalising the purchase order.
What is the minimum viable cavity count for a commercially competitive IBM or ISBM line?+
There is no universal minimum — the commercially viable cavity count depends entirely on your target output per hour, your bottle size, and your cycle time. Contact us to provide your production plan and we will confirm whether the proposed cavity count is correct.
Can the same machine produce different bottle sizes by changing moulds?+
Yes. Both IBM and ISBM machines are designed for mould changeover between different bottle SKUs. The machine parameters are stored as recipes in the PLC and recalled at the start of each production run. Physical mould changeover time is typically 1–4 hours.
What does "GMP compliant production" mean in practice for a blow moulding machine?+
GMP compliance for a blow moulding machine means: (1) zero human hand contact with the bottle at any stage; (2) documented and traceable process parameters for every production batch; (3) consistent, verifiable dimensional output across all cavities; and (4) validated machine qualification documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ basis). The EP-HGY full-servo EV series, EP-ZQ IBM series, and EP-HGA AS series satisfy all four requirements.
What utility connections does an IBM or ISBM machine require?+
All Ever Power IBM and ISBM machines require: (1) Power supply — 370–400V / 3-phase / 50 Hz; (2) High-pressure compressed air — 2.0–3.5 MPa for ISBM blow air; (3) Cooling water — inlet pressure 0.4–0.6 MPa, temperature below 25 degrees C; (4) Floor loading capacity — minimum 2 T/m².
